Why?

Some might say "boy, is she on a roll this week!" My answer, yes and for no apparent reason. I've put up a post everyday since Monday. Nice one Onada on the 'V' monologues, I actually had a post on something similar for later this week.

On a more serious note, I hope everyone is aware of the goings on in Hezbollah near Beirut, Lebanon (see). Whilst listening to the news, the acts of the U.S.A and U.K. government brigning their nationals and those with dual nationality to Cyprus by ship scared me because it seems like a war situation. Other nationals, including Nigeria, are also shipping their expatriates out of Lebanon as fast as they can. Fair enough, every attack is some form of war but this shook me a little - we are talking rockets, ships, missiles, the Israeli Prime Minister threatening that if his demands are not met, the rocket attacks would continue. I believe this is closer to a war than we think but U.S. Former Secretary of State, Madeline Albright seems to think differently as she said on Larry King Live yesterday. In saying that Hezbollah is also reigning attacks on Haifa in Israel so its seeming more and more like a war to me.

We can go into detail on the reasons and bases for these attacks and what others think or who is to blame but that doesn't seem to be solving any problems these days. To read about the origin of this crisis, click here. This brings me to the question why? Even from yesterday's article, why all this? Why the corruption? Why does man think he has more dominion over the world than God? Cloning, killing, hanging, going against God generally. That was when I remembered that Jadakiss song - watch the vid below:

On yet another note, while all this goes on, George Bush never ceases to amaze me, even at the G8 Summit - someone please teach him how to talk, see the story here. To see more stuff on the situation of the crisis, visit the BBC website.

The picture in this post was got from CNN.com and shows rescuers carrying the body of a woman from a car that an Israeli missile struck near the Lebanese port of Sidon.
