At last, there's a foreign singer out there who's eager to shoot a music video in naija. There's still hope for us. Hope this will make sense to some of our musicians who're making trends these days going to SA to shoot their videos.
it was part of a Shell/MTV Base Africa initiative to get US Musicians to music vids in africa and US music vid directors to film and produce videos for african artists. Like an exchange in a way. The nigerian artiste who got is vid filmed is called Uchie...dunno if d vid is on youtube...
i think he did a good job capturing the "true lagos". even though there's chaos everywhere pple r still happy nd not lukin starved like dey make it look like to d western world. plus d whle beach deliverance thing was sick!! now, dats classic! who wud even think of puttin dat in a video?
